Hard to think of Vladimir Putin as anything other than the president of Russia. Due to the fact that he has been in the news quite a bit over the past few years but Mister Putin born in 1952 grew up in a humble beginnings. His parents were working class. His father, both a decorated war veteran and factory worker.
