Well, it depends on who you ask. The average millionaire works about 60 hours a week, or the equivalent of a 10-hour, 6-day workweek. Keep in mind that the 10-hour, 6-day workweek is the minimum average that a self-made millionaire should work. Some noted millionaires think ambitious entrepreneurs should work 70-hour to 80-hour workweeks.

In a four-week period, you must not work anything over 55 hours per week, which lowers to 48 hours per week over a 16-week period. It’s not very common to do lots of overtime in the Netherlands. Liberation Day (5 May) Although 5 May is a public holiday, many collective labour agreements ( CAOs) stipulate that 5 May is a day off only once every five years (e.g. 2020, 2025, 2030 et cetera). You decide whether your employees have a day off on 5 May if the CAO does not contain any terms on this subject or if there is no CAO for your sector.
